The fact that people on all sides of the spectrum can go after the "fat-cats" shows that the Reagan era belief that lowering taxes on the rich will benefit all is essentially dead. This is further confirmed by a recent poll by Quinnipiac. I would agree with Futureofcapitalism that the term "fat cats" is more appropriate for a schoolyard taunt than a term of use in a political debate. Anytime anyone resorts to name calling we cheapen an important debate.
