Ira, your logic is fine but your examples are not convincing, at least not to me. Ideally your examples should show identical brands and model numbers; otherwise it's hard to tell how much of the price differentials are really quality differentials. Service differentials might also come into play since in my experience many Walmart sales people don't have specialized product knowledge that could be valuable when considering certain retail selections.
