Are Obama's executive orders "ignoring the Constitution"?

Doesn't the US Constitution make possible for presidents to issue executive orders? Sure, Obama may be making dubious use of them but is he being unlawful in doing so? I think he may technically be within the law. The Constitution provides for emergency operations and dishonest politicians can misuse these galore.
