Chicago pride? Illusion of access?

Reader comment on: Blankfein Helps ShoreBank
in response to reader comment: boasts?

Submitted by ben (United States), May 14, 2010 15:14

The bank might want people (Blankfein) included to think it somehow has access to Obama, or that the mission of the bank is somehow near and dear to Obama. But there is not a shred of evidence that I have seen that Obama has "connection" to the bank. Writing that someone has connection to a failing bank is a bit of an attack in this day, and without any evidence to show it, it is probably best left unwritten.

It's not "failing"; it may be rescued.
