Most people think Bernie's Vermont is an idyllic wonderland of contented cows, gurgling streams and endless scoops of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.

Sorry. Vermont is in the grip of an out of control drug problem. Why? The environmentalists, in their never ending quest to create a heaven on earth, have made it impossible for privately owned businesses to flourish which has led to high unemployment, despair and hopelessness.

And now Bernie wants to go national.

So, yes, please wear your Bernie t-shirt with pride. At least the rest of us will know who the simpletons are.
