Free to be harassed by an increasingly politicized irs. Fewer and fewer foreign people and businesses want to subject themselves to the whims of the irs and so it is business closed to more and more Americans. Good way to grow trade and world gdp and so increase tax revenue. I guess creating so much bad will outside the us is somehow recouped with the satisfaction of revoking some expat behind on the byzantine tax reporting requirments.
