Quaint Thought Experiment

Reader comment on: The Post-Trump GOP

Submitted by William Barr (United States), Oct 24, 2016 17:28

"... unchallenged one-party rule breeds corruption, cronyism and complacency." What a quaint observation. Democrats do not seem to mind single party rule in California, certainty their political success is not affected by their one party rule. In fact the whole article is quaint, rather like the views of the Russian Cadets after the Bolsheviks took power. Like Bolsheviks, Democrats lack any respect for rule of law, and with endorsement of the American people will gain control of the government with such respect. With Hillary's victory and her appointment of living Constitution, results oriented SD Justices endorsing "executive mandates when Congress does not act", the Constitution will become valuable only as toilet paper.
