Sestak gave it away months ago on Hardball with Chris Matthews! Watch the video.Reader comment on: Bill Clinton and the Sestak Scandal Submitted by Kaanapali (United States), May 28, 2010 18:35 Now that we know that it was Bill Clinton making the attempted bribe, the following Hardball video takes on even more significance. Sestak inadvertently hinted at the intermediary for the bribe while talking to Chris Matthews LAST YEAR about kingmakers deciding who should be senator (go to 2:08, President Clin . . . Obama). Mere slip of the tongue? I wonder how far back the discussions with Clinton actually started?: Could that video with Matthews end up being evidence in a trial of Bill Clinton and Rahm Emanuel? Wouldn't that be sweet? The February story then followed where Sestak confirmed widespread rumors and admitted that a job offer had been made to keep him out of the Senate race. But he refused to identify the intermediary or the specific job offered: Sestak is very close to Clinton and has obviously been protecting him. Sestak on Meet the Press confirms job offer was made: The White House memo concludes nothing was wrong with the offer being made through Clinton and denies that he was offered the job of Secretary of the Navy. I wonder if the original discussions with Sestak predated the nomination of Ray Mabus for Sec. of Navy in 2009? It would be interesting to check phone records and appointment calendars to document the dates of contacts between Clinton and Sestak.
