You have helped provide a perspective for the New Yorker Magazine article. The article has errors, yet fact checkers don't appear able to detect bias either. The author failed to mention that each of the 30 some-odd state chapters of AFP are responsible for raising funds in their own state. I am proud to be part of Americans for Prosperity and appreciate that citizens from all walks of life support AFP's economic freedom agenda. At every event, people show up and contribute -- some financially and others give their time, energy and talent. The article really appears to discredit these citizens who simply have a different vision for our country than Ms. Mayer and the President.
