The culprits blame the victims for the villains' crimes, again

Predictable and predictably wrong and self serving by the real villains..

The Left statists "report" that more of the same government controls and limits to free market competition will cure what those same interventions have already caused - massive inflation in costs, less diversity in intellectual content (more government approved group think collectivist ideology) and hostility to freedom and individual rights. Not to mention hostility to the Truth, as in the emperor has no clothes expose.

Look no further than Obama's hostile government takeover of the student loan industry (nationalization). Look at the Obama war against for-profit schools, including predatory and illegal intimidation and prosecutions, to "make examples" of those who refuse to buckle under to such Chicago Way Mob thuggery.

Look at the government funding via grants, research subsidies for "favored" subjects like "green" and AGW, etc.Teacher's unions 'privileged' by government tilting of the regs and laws. The overt and indirect influence on text book publishers, "diversity' and "safe space" BS at the expense of serious academics. Fascist suppression of conservative speakers and views on campus, and among the faculty. Antifa and BLM violence excused rather than condemned, while fraudulently blaming a handful of NeoNazis, 'white supremacists'. bogeymen for the Left's larger crimes.

The cause of eduction's costs and decline are a direct result of government regs, controls, funding and influence at all levels. Period. No joke how the culprits blame the victim - statists blame free markets and competition. What a dishonest crock, as I experienced first hand as an Associate Professor at a major university.
