For a site that consistently bashes regulation, the alternative is a society in which everyone settles everything in court (exploding toaster, brakes on cars, contaminated food, crying toddlers). If you also want to limit the ability of people to take others to court, then we are left with a situation in which people can do anything to anyone else without any consequence.
