Reader comment on: The New Yorker on David and Charles Koch
Submitted by Carol Skaff (United States), Aug 24, 2010 13:39
Twelve pages of conspiracy theory on Koch Industries and its owners is an assault on our forests. My guess is that if Ms. Mayer had ever created jobs or paid the magnitude of taxes that the Kochs pay, she would feel entitled to contribute her money to causes of her liking. The word "covert" says it all: In a media sector that's quickly going down the tubes, The New Yorker is attempting to incite readers into buying magazines and subscriptions. Information, not conspiracy theory, is how media remain relevant.
