Not particularly useful

Reader comment on: Unregulated Capitalism

Submitted by John Gillis (United States), Jan 1, 2019 17:25

It's always a pleasure to see this editor point out egregiously bad intellectual behavior by various politicians, intellectuals or the press. This example of "unregulated capitalism" is a particularly ripe instance. As a result, the last judgment by the editor is terribly tame. The phrase at hand requires more than a limp slap on the wrist, as in "not particularly useful". It requires a full-throated: "sophistic piece of mindless nonsense" -- or something in that vein.
