Please sign me up for the few real people. No regulation is the only moral and practical policy.

But you are so right that it's a straw man. We live in the regulatory state. All large companies have "Compliance" departments. What be that? Why, a department of the company that tries to figure out how to comply with the tens of thousands of regulations they are subject to.

Under Bush II, hardly a Leftist administration, do you know how many regulations were imposed? 50,000. The most regulated industries--banking and insurance--were the ones that caused the 2008 debacle.
