Subject evasion

Reader comment on: Elites Research Network

Subject evasion -- the rhetorical tactic of talking about everything except the topic at hand. I happen to think colleges and universities (and certainly churches) should pay property taxes to support the cities and communities from which they receive beneficial services. But that wasn't what I was writing about. Also, I was offering an argument about oligarchs not elites (if you want to gain a clearer understanding of the difference, you can order a copy of my Oligarchy book on amazon.com).
