During the debate, Cain was asked about an earlier quote of his supporting Tarp and said at the time he thought they had to do something but he opposes what they actually did, which was using it to bail out favorites and the automakers. Remember the initial plan was to do a reverse auction of "toxic" paper from the banks; that got changed to capital injections. Cain gave what I thought was a pretty anti-tarp answer in the debate. Thanks for the feedback.
