There was a battery-powered car from 1927 that is still around that was revealed recently got the same miles per charge as a Chevy Volt. And this is progress? And just what do you do with a 6 year old battery system (which is the life of the Volt's batteries) after they become useless? And it costs more to replace the battery system in a Volt than to buy a whole new Volt! So what is the upside to this? Better to have pursued a hybrid car that makes its own hydrogen and expels water vapor than to pursue battery power. Note: Comments are moderated by the editor and are subject to editing.
