Let's pass voter idea laws to solve a non-existent problem so that we keep millions of minorities from voting! That is the American way! Why not a poll tax? Or perhaps IQ tests?

Once a person has paid his/her debt to society, we should make every effort to restore their rights so they can become productive citizens once again. Keeping convicted felons unable to vote is counterproductive and undemocratic.
