More Krug "Journalism"
Reader comment on: Nicholas Kristof's Roommate With Cancer

The subject is interesting and no doubt the comments are sincere. However, it's more than a bit disconcerting to see this discussion based on the writing of a hard left idealogue whose agenda is well known to anyone with a pulse. My take on this is that it's just the latest example of Krug Journalism using the unfortunate illness of a friend for purely political purposes. It's beyond reprehensible and not worthy of any responsible journalist. It begs the question - if medical insurance was not a political issue at this time, would the Krug have devoted his time - and the newspaper its valuable space - to this story?

Column was by Kristof, not Krugman.
