Why MUST we bear his burden?

Most of us have many opportunities to render help and service, never mind that our own objectives also need attention. Unless I know someone well, I do not owe them care except maybe in an emergency. I do not belong to others, cerrtainly not in a way that they may conscript my work and belongings when they want these. I need to be asked for help and my help must come voluntarily to have any moral worth. Kristof is clueless about ordinary ethics and morality.
