By what right does the government intervene between a willing buyer and a willing seller of services? None.

Occupational licensing is a violation of individual rights. It sacrifices the innovator, the independent thinker, to the irrational: the thinking service-provider is not permitted to act (until licensed) in order to protect the fool who would patronize incompetents and quacks.
