Progressives against Progress

Reader comment on: Cambridge Versus Uber

Submitted by Michael Greenberg (United States), Jun 24, 2014 07:35

In the old days, progressives on the march would hope for a little "police brutality" because they found it radicalized people who were previously apolitical.

It looks like the same sort of thing is happening today with the progressives' pushback against progress. Their attempts to shutdown new technology-based businesses such as Uber, Airbnb, etc. causes a reaction as seen in the crowd at the hearing in the basement in Cambridge.
