Re "illegals": the crime lies not with those seeking to breathe free, but with the ugly, inhuman illegalization of their flight to freedom. Yes, being law-abiding is in general a good thing, but not if it prohibits peaceful acts that should be legal. No individual has the right to bar others from me to invite a foreigner to come on my private property and therefore "society" has no such right either. No one can delegate to the government a right that he does not possess.

I gave a link to my blog-article defending open immigration, here's one to my Forbes column on the legal/illegal issue. It's provocative (but I think accurate) title is:
