So: a nation founded on the principle of political equality.

Derived directly from Jesus' avocation of spiritual equality.

No more, no less. And no exceptions.

I thought: equals cannot order each other about.

And does not our liberty derive from that proposition?

Apparently not, as did not John Adams write the Massachusetts constitution?

Romney says, in effect, that John Adams would be ok with RomneyCare.

And a government ordering its citizens about.

It's not the people at the bottom of the totem pole that have a
problem with equality; it's those at the top. Those who are advantaged.
They are the ones who lose site of what *equality* truly means.

I am so not [any longer] a Republican.
