I say you do Dr. Paul a great disservice in characterizing him as "dovish." There has never been any suggestion of dovishness on his part, if that is taken to mean he is a "peace at any cost" kind of guy. He is not. He's a "mind your own business" and "keep your feet in your own yard" kind of guy. And heaven can't help you if you bring trouble to my house. All the other candidates are willing to dicker on the principles.

He is very clear on his disapproval of American empire-building which, among other things, saps the wealth of free citizens, creates distrust and resentment towards the American people, and completely obliterates the meaning of the term "national defense".
