Perhaps it makes the Democrats stick with Biden/Harris and the Republicans stick with Desantis, and in two years, we get rid of both Biden and Trump. Although I voted for Trump, I think his moment in time has passed. If there had been a big wave, and a big recession, it might have saved the Democrat presidency. It seems voters are more like dogs, in that they tend to live in the moment. At the moment a recession starts, it is who ever is in office's fault. Whitmer won because her powers were stripped last year, and a year is a long time in politics. She was saved by policies she opposed.
