Ethanol is made from corm. Corn is in thousands of products including feed for cattle, pigs and chickens. Supply and demand causes prices to fluctuate. If corn is used for ethanol as well as a food source it stands to reason that food prices will go up. There should not be subsidies. If someone believes in a product, invest in it.
