and chain saw and snow blower...

I'm betting not many people on Capitol Hill personally use seasonal-use small gas engines. (I can't see Barney Frank pushing a lawn mower, but the image is delightful.) If they did, they'd know the repair headaches that ethanol causes these machines. (it gums the fuel lines, even with the ethanol fuel stabilizer.) That is a direct, out-of-pocket expense now and with higher percentage the problem will be worse.
