Foreign Policy - disagree with youReader comment on: Thoughts on the CNN/Tea Party Debate Submitted by Steve B (United States), Sep 13, 2011 12:58 As much as I dislike President Obama, he is correct to use the drones in a targeted way and has killed quite a few Al-Qaeda leadership in the process. For all his rhetoric (and apologies), he has followed President Bush's lead and maintained an active offensive. Although the majority of Americans are tired of war, I think most recognize that our actions overseas hunting down Al-Qaeda and disrupting their leadership has kept them from mounting another attack on our shores. Ron Paul is wrong. When given the choice between ignoring Al-Qaeda and then having to play defense after getting hit at home (pre-9/11) and being proactive such as we are doing (post-9/11), I'll choose our current path every time. Ron Paul wants to turn the clock back, and the more he sounds like Michael Moore on the issue, the less credibility he has. Note: Comments are moderated by the editor and are subject to editing.
