I certainly do — not by offering them government goodies, necessarily, but not by discriminating against them if they manage to get into the University of Texas as the child of illegal immigrants, either. There was just no acknowledgement by Mr. Romney that America is a nation of immigrants." In-state tuition is the very definition of a government goodie. As for the history of the US, settlers and legal immigrants, more like it. Illegal immigration means the disenfranchisement of legal citizens, in addition to a well-known litany of social problems. Hence, illegal immigrants should be "discriminated against", just as speeders, tax cheats and drunk drivers should be "discriminated against".
