Reader comment on: Thoughts on the Final Presidential Debate
Submitted by M. Report (United States), Oct 23, 2012 09:42
The word can refer to the exceptional individuals who founded the United States or to the
Ship of State going underwater, which will happen soon, no matter who is at the helm.
It has been a century, at least, since a career in public office has had more appeal
to the exceptional person who wants to make the US a better place than a career
in the private sector. This is as it should be; Politicians are supposed to administer
the government, not indulge in social engineering.
