Ira Stoll needs to get a life - THERE ARE NO JOBS OUT THERE TO SUSTAIN SHELTER, FOOD, ETC.Reader comment on: Who Are the Unemployed? Submitted by Jeff May (United States), Aug 23, 2010 03:52 Oh my word. Hey Stoll, that's right I am talking to you. You keep talking about these (very likely rich) self-employed entrepreneurs who are crying in their martinis because a tiny fraction of people who are unemployed are milking the unemployment insurance system (and I'm sure the big business clowns at big banks and corporations have the same ignorant sentiments also) but an overwhelming majority of people who are receiving unemployment insurance are actively seeking work each day and following the rules of the state they are located in. The problem is that in most of the 50 states in this country (and you can talk to employers big and small and unemployed as well and they will both tell you to your face) THERE ARE NO JOBS OUT THERE. Certainly not ones that provide the income to pay rent or a mortgage, let alone a car payment, car insurance, food, or medical care. Of course, you don't give a rat's ass about the truth because you are too busy listening to Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Rand Paul, Sharron Angle, Michelle Malkin, the rest of the only in it for the money conservative hosts and pundits of FIXED News, and visiting Breitbart's website to have a clue about what is really going on in America. Why don't you just go jump in the lake with those fools? Respect is what you lack and neither you nor the aforementioned deserve it from me for the illogical and inhumane treatment of those without work in this recession and these mindless platitudes you all display.
