...of course we can't force them to show up, everybody knows that. The point is, we can keep them on the books. That way, we can get the funding, the teaching positions, etc. etc. If we get that, hell, we'd PREFER they stay home.

Oh, not to mention, they won't be able to work legally, so that's more jobs for the over 18 crowd. And lower wages for the under 18 crowd, who will just work under the table. Or sell drugs.
