Unfortunately the few centrist lines were all obvious lies like:

1. He talked about ending bailouts, and then as the article states he brags about all the bailouts he did, and would do again.

2. He talked about getting rid of obsolete regulations, but he already had a group to do that last year. It turned out he wrote vastly more NEW regulations than that group ever got rid of. No evidence to indicate that pattern will not continue.

3. The lie about opening up oil on federal lands, and bragging about increased production, and decreased imports, is another whopper. The decreased imports were due mainly to the continued recession, and increased gas prices, both of which his policies caused. The increase on production was solely due to increases on private lands, where no fed permits are needed. On fed lands, where permits from his gov are needed, drilling is significantly down, with permitting now so difficult that there is no sign of any increase.

This speech may have been centrist sounding to the rubes, but it was hard leftist to anybody that has a brain, and a memory of past actions.
