Reader comment on: Paul Krugman on the Angry Rich
Submitted by Red Cabbage (United States), Sep 20, 2010 18:41
Mr. Krugman is spot on as usual.
And to the author of the original critique, please stop with the "rich worked hard to get to where they are at" BS.
A 39% tax rate is not unreasonable. It is selfish to oppose it. Offering mythical explanations such as "the rich create jobs" just doesn't fly anymore.
Wealthy is not equal to "smarter." Wealthy is equal to "willing to exploit others for personal gain."
