the loss of opportunity??

Reader comment on: Paul Krugman on the Angry Rich

what astounds me about this tax debate is the lack of realization on the part of low income earners that IF the government institutes very high tax rates on the high income earners then they are in fact limiting their own opportunity or that of their children. we are all LUCKY to have been born in a country where there is such opportunity and it would be sad to that taken away. Those LUCKY successful people that I know have mostly come from low-income families and have been smart, shrewd, worked exceedingly hard, taken risks, NOT GIVEN UP in the hard times and are now giving back, And yes, they were sometimes in the right place at the right time. ONLY IN AMERICA!
